On July 10, according to CoinDesk, NRW.BANK, a German state development bank, issued blockchain bonds worth 100 million euros (approximately 116.7 million USD) on the Polygon blockchain. The bonds are registered under the German Electronic Securities Act (eWpG) and are supported by Cashlink's BaFin regulated encryption securities registration system. This issuance attracted several institutional investors, with Deutsche Bank, DZ Bank, and Dekabank acting as joint lead underwriters, marking a growing acceptance of digital securities in the European public sale space.
