Taiwan's first Bitcoin investment ETF! Fubon Dual-Core Strategic Multi-Asset Fund includes BTC as a geopolitical hedge asset.

Fubon Investment Trust announced that on August 4, it will launch the "Fubon Dual Core Strategic Multi-Asset Fund," which focuses on a multi-asset approach combined with dynamic strategies to address geopolitical risks. The Financial Supervisory Commission officially announced the investment regulations for virtual asset ETFs on February 24 of this year, making exposure to Bitcoin ETFs a compliant and feasible innovative approach, and the "Fubon Dual Core Strategic Multi-Asset Fund" is the first fund approved to include Bitcoin ETFs.

Fubon Dual Core Strategy Multi-Asset Fund adjusts asset allocation in response to geopolitical dynamics.

Fubon Investment Trust stated that after Trump's return to the White House, the direction of U.S. policy is filled with uncertainty. Coupled with rising geopolitical risks and persistent inflationary pressures, the investment environment can no longer simply rely on dollar assets as a safe haven, and asset allocation thinking urgently needs to transform.

Fubon Dual-Core Strategic Multi-Asset Fund proposed manager Chen Zhenyi stated that the fund simultaneously incorporates two core allocation logics: "Corporate Profit Driven" and "Geopolitical Risk Driven." It also introduces Fubon Investment Trust's unique GTS Global Turbulence Signals, which extract signals from non-traditional financial factors such as global news, legislative actions, and policy changes, conducting quantitative monitoring and dynamic adjustment of macroeconomic risks, as well as managing portfolio volatility to pursue low volatility and long-term returns.

Bitcoin ETF included in Fubon New ETF asset allocation

In simple terms, the fund will use Fubon Asset Management's GTS Global Turbulence Signal for asset allocation. When the signal indicates an increase in geopolitical risk, it will increase investment in physical assets such as gold spot ETFs and funds related to gold themes, virtual assets such as Bitcoin spot ETFs, as well as government bonds from mature countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

At the same time, reduce holdings in growth stocks such as technology stocks, trending industries, high-dividend ETFs, US dollar corporate bonds, and other assets.
