Survey data shows that currently 43% of the American public approve of Trump's performance, while 53% express dissatisfaction, resulting in a net approval rating of negative 10%. Reports indicate that after Trump announced the "Liberation Day" tariff policy in April this year, his approval rating plummeted sharply. Although it has since rebounded somewhat, some recent actions seem to have reignited public discontent towards the White House.
