Vietnam's first national-level encryption asset exchange pilot has been launched, with active participation from Techcom Securities.

Gate News bot message, Vietnam is making every effort to promote the construction of centralized encryption asset exchanges (CEX) under national regulation. In March of this year, a national seminar was held in Hanoi, where the Ministry of Finance, the State Bank, the Ministry of Public Security, and other departments discussed the "Sandbox Mechanism Resolution Draft" together with blockchain experts and the Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA). This draft is expected to be released in early April to prepare for the trial operation of the exchange.

Techcom Securities (TCBS) proposed to pilot tokenized securities trading on the exchange platform, with its parent company Techcombank indicating that it will participate in platform technology development and prepare for deployment after regulatory approval.

It is reported that the "Encryption Asset Sandbox Mechanism Draft" along with the "Digital Technology Law" and the "International Financial Center Law" will be submitted to the Vietnamese National Assembly for review in May. Among them, the "Digital Technology Law" was passed at the end of June and will come into effect on January 1, 2026, clearly defining the legal status of "encryption assets" and "tokenized assets" for the first time.

TCBS has launched the encryption market section on its online securities platform, allowing investors to view real-time price trends of over 100 mainstream cryptocurrencies including BTC and ETH, demonstrating that Vietnam's fintech infrastructure is accelerating its integrated development.
