Ripple’s New XRPL Accelerator Set to Reshape DeFi and AI Infrastructure Fast

Ripple announced on July 3 a strategic collaboration with global fintech incubator Tenity “to launch a new accelerator program designed to support entrepreneurs building on the XRP Ledger (XRPL),” as the enterprise blockchain firm intensifies efforts to scale real-world blockchain solutions from Singapore.

The XRPL Accelerator, set to begin in September 2025, will run twice annually and back both startups and corporate innovation teams working on tokenization, institutional DeFi, and AI-blockchain use cases. The 12-week hybrid program will offer up to $200,000 in non-equity funding, guidance from industry experts, and access to Ripple’s ecosystem of investors and partners. The curriculum will also include workshops on token design, product-market strategy, and investor readiness, culminating in a Demo Day where teams will pitch to potential backers. In a statement aimed at developers, Ripple stated:

The program arrives amid rising investment in Singapore’s blockchain sector, which attracted $750 million in 2024 and represents 60% of the country’s total fintech funding. Jonas Thurig, Managing Partner at Tenity, emphasized the program’s broader impact, calling it “a launchpad for game-changing ideas to scale globally.” By fostering strong regulatory alignment and technical support, the initiative is expected to strengthen Singapore’s role as a hub for blockchain entrepreneurship and long-term innovation across Asia-Pacific.
