Bhutan Accelerates Bitcoin Sales, Liquidates 512.84 BTC in Four Days

Gate News bot message, Bhutan's government has stepped up its Bitcoin divestment activities, selling 512.84 BTC valued at $59.47 million over a four-day period. The latest transaction occurred when the Central Government of Bhutan transferred 100.215 BTC ($11.83M) to cryptocurrency exchanges.

Historical data shows that Bhutan has disposed of 2,262 BTC ($200.46M) through six separate transactions during the past year, with an average selling price of $88,612. Following these recent sales, Bhutan's Bitcoin holdings now stand at 11,411 BTC, equivalent to approximately $1.4 billion.
