G20 officials express concerns about US tariffs

According to Jin10 data on July 18, informed sources revealed that on Thursday, senior finance officials from the G20 major economies expressed concerns about the impact of U.S. President Trump's high tariffs on the global economy during a meeting held near Durban, South Africa. At the end of the first day of the two-day meeting, Japanese Finance Minister Kato Katsunobu told reporters that he was worried about the uncertainty surrounding U.S. tariffs and their impact on the economy and financial markets. Kato added that tariffs are not the right tool to solve trade imbalances.
