Central Bank of Chile: Plans to start accumulating 18.5 billion USD in International Reserves

This measure is part of the financial management strategy, aimed at gradually replacing some of the existing foreign currency credit lines with the country's own international reserves. The plan will start on August 8th, with an estimated total accumulation of about 18.5 billion USD over three years. The measures will be reviewed every six months, and adjustments may be made if there are significant changes in market conditions. This measure aligns with the inflation targeting regime and floating exchange rate system.
