Abstract generation in progress

DIA has launched the Lumina Testnet today. Lumina is its new modular Oracle Machine infrastructure designed to improve transparency, scalability, and integration flexibility, aiming to address common issues of existing Oracle Machines, allowing for data aggregation, verification, and delivery through Cross-Chain Interaction. Its architecture differs from other Oracle Machine solutions like Chainlink and API3, as it supports multiple messaging protocols, compatibility with non-EVM chains, and comprehensive data traceability. Zygis Marazas, the product manager of DIA, stated that previously, access to Oracle Machine data sources and flows was often opaque, but Lumina provides complete visibility into the entire process. The current Testnet will have limited participation, and the Mainnet is planned to be released in the first quarter of 2025, operating as a fully permissionless network. In addition to nodes, new chains and assets that require Oracle Machine services can be inserted without direct involvement from the DIA team. This eliminates the need for a manual joining process.
