Abstract generation in progress

Odaily News The President of the United States, Trump, stated when discussing the next Chair of the Federal Reserve (FED) that Walsh is very talented, but he may not be the one, as he does not want to pay 10-year debt at a higher interest rate. (Jin10) Note: Earlier in 2025, Waller was once seen as a leading candidate to replace Powell. He served as a member of the Federal Reserve from 2006 to 2011 and during the chaos of the 2008 financial crisis, became the liaison to Wall Street appointed by then-Federal Reserve Chairman Bernanke, possessing extensive experience steering within the Federal Reserve. He is also someone familiar to Trump, as eight years ago, Trump interviewed him for the position of Federal Reserve Chairman before deciding to appoint Powell.
