Bloomberg: The U.S. Treasury Secretary said that discussions with China are planned in the coming weeks to promote talks on trade and other issues between the U.S. and China.

Gate News bot reported that, according to Bloomberg, U.S. Treasury Secretary Yellen stated on the 7th local time that he expects to meet with Chinese officials in the coming weeks to advance discussions on trade and other issues.

They reached a principled consensus on the framework for implementing the important consensus from the phone call between the two heads of state on June 5 and consolidating the achievements of the Geneva economic and trade talks, and made new progress in addressing each other's economic and trade concerns.
