On the 30th, it was learned that Shanghai is focusing on blockchain technology innovation and industrial integration, promoting "technology" through competitions and promoting "application" through competitions, and building a collaborative ecosystem of "industry, academia, research, and application."

On that day, the 2025 "Shutong Chain Valley" Cup Shanghai Blockchain Industry Application Labor and Skills Competition was officially launched in the Shutong Chain Valley of the Jingan District's North High-tech Park. It is aimed at the whole country, with the goal of cultivating versatile talents, promoting the application of Blockchain technology in fields such as public administration, transportation, and healthcare, and building an ecosystem of coordinated development among technology, industry, and talent.

It is reported that this year marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Shanghai Municipal Federation of Trade Unions and a critical juncture for the conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan. Holding this competition is a positive response to the country's strategy for accelerating the innovative development of Blockchain technology and an important tool for deepening the reform of the construction of the industrial workers' team.

This competition is also a key measure for Jing'an District in Shanghai to align with global frontiers, seize industrial high grounds, and cultivate a strong workforce. The district hopes that participants will tackle core frontier areas such as Blockchain underlying technology, security mechanisms, and privacy computing, striving to reach technological peaks; deeply explore and promote the empowerment and on-ground verification of Blockchain technology in key scenarios such as government affairs, healthcare, and finance; at the same time, strengthen the leadership of leading enterprises and collaboration within the industrial chain, jointly building a top-notch Blockchain ecological high ground.

Compared to previous years, this year's competition has achieved a significant leap in connotation and supporting system, upgrading from a skills competition to an important platform for systematically building the Blockchain industry ecosystem in Jing'an District, serving national strategies and the digital transformation of Shanghai city. It has been revealed that in the future, the Jing'an District Federation of Trade Unions and the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau will jointly establish a "Jing'an Skilled Workers Training Base" to directly connect the competition results with the recognition of workers' skill levels and the selection and cultivation of model workers and craftsmen, delivering high-quality skilled talent to the industry.

The Jing'an District Science and Technology Economic Committee, the District Data Bureau, and the Shibei High-tech Group will jointly create the "Jing'an District High-quality Incubator" to provide a full chain of cultivation from resource docking, technical support to market expansion and incubation investment for outstanding proposals and application scenarios that stand out in the competition. Multiple enterprises have jointly signed the "Blockchain Enterprise Security Compliance Initiative" to foster a self-discipline, integrity, law-abiding, and compliant industry ecosystem. In addition, the Shibei High-tech Park will also launch the "Model Worker Craftsman Assistance Project" to facilitate contracts between national model workers, Shanghai craftsmen, and enterprise representatives, accurately introducing the experience and technical wisdom of model workers into the enterprises' technical breakthroughs and management innovations.

The Shibei High-tech Park stated that the park focuses on the evolution path of the "Cloud Data Intelligent Chain" industry, leading with key blockchain technologies, deepening the development of demonstrative labor and skill competitions, using competitions as a carrier to assist in enterprise development and employee growth, contributing to the innovative development of the blockchain industry in Shanghai and even across the country.
