$YFI tumbles 40% after recording over $5 million in liquidation within 24 hours

$YFI, the native crypto that governs the yearn.finance platform, is down over 40% in the past 24hours, & now trades around $8909.36, with inflow of $15.79M, as per Gate.io chart

This comes after investors surprisingly liquidated their $YFI holdings with the recent selloff in the larger crypto market. Recent data from Coinglass shows that $YFI saw over $5 million in liquidation in the last 24 hours. The positions on major platforms have also dropped significantly, while the "OI" has increased, showing that traders are making short positions on $YFI.
