LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Chairman of Strategy (MSTR) Michael Saylor delivered an important speech about bitcoin at Bitcoin 2025 in Las Vegas on Thursday, outlining his guiding principles — the so-called "21 ways to wealth" — for a large audience of fans and conference attendees. "Satoshi ignited a fire in cyberspace, and while the fearful run away from it and the fools dance around it, the faithful stoke the fire, dreaming of a better world and basking in the warm glow of the network light," Saylor said. "What does that mean? It means that many people looking at Bitcoin will fear it." They will never touch it. They will never benefit from it. They will be left behind. Then, others will just juggle it. They will juggle the fire. They will create fireworks with fire. They will create jewelry with fire. They will create magic tricks with fire. But those who truly understand it will add fuel to the fire. How do you add fuel to the fire? You add fuel to the fire by buying Bitcoin. Saylor — a person who has almost become a legend in the bitcoin community by leading Strategy, a publicly traded technology company that transitioned to a bitcoin fund management company, holding about 3% of the total bitcoin supply — stated that people should exchange their inferior assets for bitcoin. "Take your fiat money, trade it for Bitcoin. Take your long-term capital, trade it for Bitcoin. Sell your bonds, trade [them] for Bitcoin. Sell your lesser stocks, sell your lesser real estate, buy Bitcoin," Saylor said. "Fuel the fire, and what will happen? An extraordinary explosion in the network and [trong] the power of the network, and you will buy a ticket to prosperity." This is Saylor's third way to get rich — courage — which he believes means wealth "beneficial to those who smartly accept monetary risks." Bitcoin, like other assets, will increase in value if more people buy it, although Saylor did not mention this effect in his speech. Besides courage, Saylor advises the audience to have faith in the potential of bitcoin, persist in pursuing a goal, collaborate with family and children, embrace artificial intelligence, consider politeness when engaging in the "natural power structures of the world," and remember to be generous. "When you succeed — and you will succeed — wake up every morning and spread happiness, share safety, and bring hope to those less fortunate than you," Saylor said. "You have found the way before, you have found the path before. You should spread good karma."
