On June 5, Cointelegraph reported that financial infrastructure company Zebec Network acquired compliance and identity platform Gatenox in preparation for the regulatory push of MiCA and FCA. Zebec said the deal will bring localized authentication, KYB and anti-money laundering tools directly to its Web3 payment stack, and Zebec plans to leverage Gatenox's technology to register with the EU's Crypto Asset Market Regulation (MiCA) and the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the second half of 2025.
