Analysts: The Federal Reserve (FED) will not lower interest rates until the end of 2025.

[Analyst: The Federal Reserve will not cut interest rates until the end of 2025] Sima Shah, a strategist at Signal Asset Management, wrote that after today's non-farm payroll report, she believes the Federal Reserve will not cut interest rates until the end of 2025. "Some Federal Reserve speakers have already indicated that they prefer to cut rates as early as this month. Today's data shows that employment numbers exceeded expectations, the unemployment rate decreased, and initial claims for unemployment benefits fell, which completely eliminates their reasoning for an imminent rate cut and suggests there is no urgency for the Federal Reserve to provide supportive policies."
