GOAT Network releases BitVM3 key upgrade plan to promote the practical application of Bitcoin native ZK Rollup.

ChainCatcher message, the first sustainable yield Bitcoin ZK Rollup network GOAT Network has released a new generation of reusable homomorphic obfuscation circuit architecture based on BitVM3, which first addresses two major challenges in the native Bitcoin zk Rollup: "one-time limitation" and "massive off-chain data." The new solution uses the Label Forward Propagation mechanism to enable encryption circuits to have infinite reuse capability and compresses off-chain data from hundreds of GB to several MB, achieving an improvement of over 1000 times. According to reports, this solution is a series of key optimizations carried out by the GOAT team based on the BitVM3 paper first published by Robin Linus. The GOAT Network, through this architecture, makes Bitcoin ZK Rollup not only "achievable" but also "deployable" for the first time, advancing BitVM from an experimental concept to a deployable stage. It is reported that the original BitVM3 architecture is still 5–10 years away from practical application, while GOAT's implementation shortens this time to 6–12 months.
