Gate Charity's "Protect the Ocean" Event in Sabah Inspires Environmental Action

Gate Charity, a global non-profit philanthropic organization, partnered with a local diving center in Sabah, Malaysia, for a “Protect the Ocean” themed event aimed at marine ecological preservation.

With a dedicated team from the diving center, including two employees, two diving instructors, and two students, the event kicked off at 9:00 a.m. on the Sabah coast. Led by experienced instructors, participants delved into the marine life and ecological challenges of the area, embarking on multiple dives to document the beauty of the underwater world. The day concluded at 4:30 p.m., leaving participants inspired and informed.

The event’s six participants, including local environmentalists, came away with a profound understanding of the detrimental effects of human-induced pollution on the deep-sea eco. Their experiences ignited a passion for marine ecology preservation, motivating them to lead by example and rally their communities to protect our oceans.
