As a Gate VIP, you'll unlock exclusive perks including: lower trading fees, exclusive high-yield products, customized borrowing rate and cap, 1-on-1 account manager, access to VIP-only events, and exclusive gifts and merchandise.

You can become a Gate VIP by meeting any of the following requirements:

    1. 30-Day Trading Volume (Monthly Trading Volume = Spot Trading Volume + Futures Trading Volume × 40%)

    2. Average GT holdings in the last 14 days

    3. Total assets for VIP upgrade

Users whose API trading volume accounts for at least 60%, or who have reached VIP tier 15 or 16, will be automatically upgraded to advanced institutional users. Please go to the Gate Institutional page check out benefits. Users at VIP 14 will not be upgraded to VIP 15, and users at VIP 15 will not be downgraded to VIP 14.

1. If you meet the 30-day trading volume requirements, you will be upgraded to VIP status or a higher VIP tier, and your VIP status will remain for 60 days without downgrading.
2. If your GT holdings reach the required amount, your VIP status will be elevated. Otherwise, your VIP status may be downgraded.
3. If you meet the required asset value, you can upgrade to a higher VIP tier. If your account asset value falls below the required level, your VIP status will not be maintained.

VIP tiers are updated randomly every 24 hours. Once you meet the requirement, your VIP tier will be upgraded.

Your 30-day trading volume is calculated as:
30-Day Trading Volume = 30-Day Spot Trading Volume + 30-Day Futures Trading Volume × 40%. Click hereto view your 30-day trading volume.

The total asset value is calculated based on the market value of different tokens in your account, with each token weighted according to its coefficient.
Formula for Total Asset Value:
Total Asset Value = (Token Value in USD × Token Coefficient) for each token. If the value of a single token exceeds the limit for VIP upgrades, it will be capped at that limit.

Example:
User A holds GateToken (GT) worth 100,000 USD, with a coefficient of 1. So, the value of GT is 100,000 USD.
User A also holds tokens ranked 51st to 120th, worth 100,000 USD, but these tokens have a coefficient of 0.8. So, their value is 80,000 USD.
Therefore, User A's total asset value is 100,000 USD + 80,000 USD = 180,000 USD.
